This degree includes the three-year Secondary School Teacher's Degree in Applied Linguistics, and two more years for the Bachelor's Degree.

Its main objective consists in supplying Guatemala with its own professional linguists, so that they can contribute to the clarification and solution of problems derived from multilingualism.
