Career description

The School of Physical Therapy belongs to the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences; is characterized by the academic training of future professionals through educational methodologies of excellence, which allows us to achieve leadership by promoting our values to find that our graduate acts at all levels of health care, respecting the ethical, moral and cultural principles of the individual and the community, with the aim of preserving, developing and restoring the integrity of the person through the methods and physiotherapeutic techniques that promote body movement and skills adapted to the environment according to the health condition of the patient.

What will you learn during the program?

As a physical therapy professional, you will be able to provide specific care with a preventive, curative and rehabilitative approach, which favors the integration of the person to society by applying the model of physical therapy intervention from the approach of disease prevention, as well as the promotion, maintenance, protection and recovery of health in individuals at any stage of life who present dysfunction, disabilities and movement disorders.
