of Teaching English as a Second Language with a Major in Educational Technology is designed to provide continuity to English teachers and/or related careers, training professionals who can work in administrative areas, coordination of English departments and/or departments of technology. It provides techniques and methodologies to foster the development of the 21st century competencies in students as well as to help them create more active teaching and learning scenarios.

This degree provides knowledge of administrative, investigative, technological, methodological and evaluative competencies by incorporating the Bloom's taxonomy; the ISTE standards; competencies of the Common European Framework, ubiquitous learning, project-based learning, among others.

The bachelor's degree in English with a specialization in educational technology is a cutting-edge degree and a model of other programs for professional teaching specialization.

The main puepose of the Bachelor's Degre of Teaching English as a Second Language with a Major in Educational Technology, is to provide a level of competence that allows the professional to develop in the educational fields of the country or abroad, under a profile that comprises administrative, organizational, consulting, bilingual or technological educational programs management, in order to become agents of change and innovation in their respective areas of work.

Possesses a wide preparation in computer science that allows him/her to access in an increasingly autonomous way to new contents and transfers.

Is competent in the use of English and technological resources to develop in the activities of their occupational field.

Has a TOEFL certification to validate their proficiency in the English language.

Has a solid linguistic formation applying technology, allowing him/her to handle the four skills and the production of speeches (written and oral) in diverse communication situations.
